As fall rounds the corner into winter for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere it is time to break out the larger coats, larger gloves and of course the larger beers. I speak of course of the high gravity beers. The season is upon us. The pumpkin beers are hitting the stores in waves and the Marzens are being rolled out for Oktoberfest. When do you prefer to imbibe in the “fall” beers? Although most of these beers are available year round now, some, like me, wait until this month to start into them. A good craft beer can be purchased just about anywhere now. Prices, though, can very from place to place and even bar/pub to bar/pub. We’re interested in how much money is being spent by individuals during a typical month of craft beer drinking.
