      A BEER WITH MORE TASTE We brew all beer with surplus fresh bread, so it’s planet-saving and palate-pleasing. We collaborate with craft breweries all over the world and open-source a recipe for homebrewers. A WORLD WITH LESS WASTE Food production is the biggest contributor to climate change, but one-third of food is wasted. We want to change that. Did you know 44% of bread is never eaten? We work with bakeries and sandwich makers to prevent waste. TOASTING CHANGE All our profits go to charities fixing the food system. Our main partner is Feedback, a campaigning organisation.       We have created a core range of 6 uniquely celebrated beers ranging from a traditional bitter, refreshing blonde to an intensely hoppy and unusual black IPA. Our seasonal beers include Swan Verdi made with our own green hops grown locally as well as Swallow Ale and Amazon Amber, both made with British developmental hops. Commonly named after the boats of Lake Windermere, our beers feature a unique series of illustrations and the identity created for us by Kim Husbands, fulfilling our mantra that all aspects of our brewery should reflect the high quality and attention that goes into all of our brews.

      Andy Hepworth started brewing in Reading almost directly after University. He moved to Horsham in 1980 and within five years became the youngest Head Brewer in the country, winning many awards. The long-standing tradition of brewing in Horsham came to an abrupt halt in 2000 with the sale of its last brewery and so Andy, determined to maintain that tradition, joined up with the key members of the brewing team in order to create Hepworths, an independent brewery aiming to build its own range of quality brands, while maintaining flexibility for contract work. We are run by a family of craft beer fanatics and our aim is to create the most delicious and flavoursome beers possible.
