  • American Barleywine

    DuClaw Devil’s Milk

Each year since it was first brewed in 1998, Devil’s Milk, the Brewer’s Association of Maryland Governor’s Cup gold medal winner in 2006, 2007 and 2008, has used a different blend of hops to flavor and bitter the beer, making each batch of Devil’s Milk a unique experience. The 2010 vintage of Devil’s Milk epitomizes the American Barley Wine-Style Ale. A medium bodied, copper ale with a thin, persistent, off-white head and a complex flavor profile with an assertive hop bill. A backbone of Columbus hops for bittering (66 ibu’s) creates a solid base for the mesmerizing citrus flavors and aromas of the palate dominating Chinook hop finish and warming…

  • Weissbier (Weizen)

    DuClaw 13 Degrees

First brewed in 2002 and available each Spring, 13 Degrees exemplifies the German-style Hefe-weizen. Made with a 50/50 mix of malted wheat and barley malt, it is straw-colored with a lingering white head atop a chaotically cloudy, medium body. The beer is left unfiltered to capture the distinct clove and banana flavors contributed by the style-specific strain of yeast used in fermentation. With just enough hop character to balance these unique flavors as they fade to a, dry, crisp finish, and a moderate 4.8% abv.,13 Degrees is a flavor-packed, refreshing brew that defies expectations and superstitions.

  • American Porter

    DuClaw Bad Moon Porter

A complex, robust porter, Bad Moon is medium to full bodied with a slightly sweet, malty presence combined with hints of chocolate and coffee. This is a full-bodied beer that gets its chocolate and coffee-like flavors and color from the use of generous amounts of roasted malts. It has a smooth finish and a balanced hop character.

  • American IPA

    DuClaw HellRazer IPA

HellRazer IPA, first brewed in 2011 and now available year round, is a medium-bodied, golden IPA that gets in your face from first sweet sip to crisp, dry finish with the exotic tropical fruit flavors and aromas of New Zealand Motueka hops. With just enough malt character to keep the aggressive hop presence and unruly 7.5% abv in check, this brew was seemingly born to kick ass. And RAZE HELL!

  • Imperial Stout

    DuClaw Black Jack Stout

Black Jack Stout, our December seasonal brew (and one of our most popular since it was first brewed in 1998), stays true to the style’s origins. The Brewer’s Association of Maryland Governor’s Cup 2005, 2006 and 2007 gold medal winner in its class, this classic example of the Russian Imperial Stout style pours jet black with a small dark brown head and full body. Black Jack boasts a swirl of dark chocolate, coffee, smoky malt, and fruit flavors, and a lingering, warming alcohol presence (8% alcohol by volume) well concealed by its big bold flavors. Engineered for an OG of 21 Plato (hence the name) so that every glass, and…

  • Doppelbock

    Andechser Doppelbock Dunkel
