Shimmering dark brown – Slightly bitter, malty taste
Our Munich Dark beer announces itself with intense malt notes. A glorious beer: full-bodied flavor with a slight hint of caramel, nuts and candied fruit. A slightly sweet roasted malt note harmoniously rounds off the delicate bitterness of the hops.
Our Munich Dark gets its beautiful chestnut color from the high temperatures used during “kiln-drying,” the roasting of the barley malt, and the special Hacker-Pschorr mashing process.
Aged in the deepest levels of our storage cellars, our Dark has been able to develop its unique taste in peace and quiet.
Since 1417, Hacker Pschorr stands for traditional Bavarian brewing. The quality beers of Hacker-Pschorr are all brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law and contain only hops, malt and water.
