    Five Towns Brewery

Five Towns Brewery was established in September 2008. Since that date we have strived to produce quality cask conditioned beers. The brewery is based in a converted garage in Outwood, a district to the North of Wakefield. Inside the brewery is a 2 ½ barrel plant originally set up with two fermenters but due to increasing demand we have purchased a third fermenter enabling us to brew up to three times per week, equivalent to thirty 9 gallon casks of award winning real ale. The beer is distributed around the country. For the past 3 years we have also been producing bottle conditioned beers in 500ml or 750ml bottles

    The Vine Norwich

The pub can be traced back to 1842 and from 1846-1860 it was known as the Albert Tavern (named after Prince Albert) but when Prince Albert died in 1861 the pub reverted to the Vine. It was known as The Vine Tavern in Dove Street until 2008 when Aey Allen took over. The Vine Thai Norwich has a reputation of not only serving fine beers, but also delicious traditionally cooked Thai Cuisine. As well as real English Ales, the pub also boasts a range of world and fruit beers and bottled ciders and also has a selection of wines and whiskeys. Every year in May, we take part in the…

    Ponysaurus Brewing Company

A lot of breweries get their start in a garage. But we’re pretty sure Ponysaurus is the only one that started in an attic. And besides that tiny space above the entrance to The Cookery in Durham, NC (and the scissor lift we used to access it), the only other thing we started with was gumption. To think that maybe we could make great beers for people who take beer seriously, and not much else. From that passionate little beginning, a forward-thinking brewery and taproom has hatched, brewing beers meant to be savored, appreciated, studied, nuzzled, and mindfully guzzled. In just three short years, we’ve gone from bonking our heads…

    Modern Times Beer

We focus (non-monogamously) on aroma-driven, complex, flavorful, sessionish beers. We often brew hybrid styles, combining the features we like from established categories to create new, Island-Of-Doctor-Moreau-style mash-ups. Fortunate Islands combines the mildly nutty malt body of a wheat beer with the intensely bright, citrusy hoppiness of a righteous IPA. Black House has the full-body, robust chocolatey flavor, and intense coffee aroma of its imperial counterparts, but packed into a 5.8% ABV package. Blazing World combines the subtly fruity qualities of a dry amber ale with the enormous hop-profile of an über-dank double IPA. Lomaland, our flagship saison, isn’t so much a hybrid, as a return to origin—a quenching, sessionable, farmhouse…

A Visit To Bhramari Brewing Company

I recently had the opportunity to stop in at Bhramari Brewing Company during a recent visit to Asheville, North Carolina while my daughter worked at a wedding in town.  I would have to say that I quite enjoyed myself. Saturday afternoon, taproom not too busy (but I could see it becoming very busy later in the day). The building itself it quite large and broken into different seating sections. Plenty of seating is available around the taps as well as there being a quite large patio and another section the encompasses another corner of the bulding. The brewery’s beer selection was quite extensive and there were also other alcoholic options (mixed drinks)…

    Legion Brewing Company

We have chosen a symbol of friendship as our flagship brand; two arrows crossed at the center. Native American tribes used this symbol to represent the bringing together of two clans. In essence Friendship. Our beer honors this standard as well; embracing our sense of place here in the Carolinas and the diversity and warmth and pride of home from this unique neighborhood. We are driven to push the boundaries of making innovative brews that taste of those influences. We do this using seasonally available, local Carolina and American ingredients in both traditional and innovative ways.At our core, every member of Legion Brewing recognizes that none of us got where we…
