Camden Hells Lager
Inspired by Germany, delivered for London. A classic lager that’s exactly what it should be: easy-drinking, crisp and dry with beautiful bubbles. Taste: Bright, white foam, great bubbles, clean and refreshing with a dry hop finish. You can taste the great depth of flavour which comes from the long, slow maturation in tank. This is how a great lager should taste. The story: Combining two of our favourite beer styles into one, we take the crisp, dry body of a German-style Pilsner and give it the gentle hopping of a Helles to create the beer we really want to drink – wanting this beer is the reason we decided to…

Camden Town Brewery
It started at The Horseshoe in Hampstead, North London, where Jasper Cuppaidge brewed beneath the pub. From there we moved up out of the cellars, down the road and into railway arches in Camden Town. That was early in 2010. We converted seven old Victorian arches and installed a beautiful modern brewery, made by Braukon in Germany. We developed our ideas into recipes and sold our first beers into London in the summer of 2010. Camden Town Brewery was out there.

Keeping Track
Evening all. Still getting used to using this as a normal blog and not the website content management interface. Good grief there are a lot of beer happenings going on around the country. Something I would not have imagened just six or seven years ago. From new brewery anniversary parties to the upcoming GABF or my local WBF (World Beer Festival). It’s becoming difficult to keep track. A good problem to have though. Show of hands…who will be attending GABF? Cheers!

The Bow Bar
The Bow Bar is in the great tradition of a Scottish Free House: Gantry stuffed full of Malt Whisky, Real Ales on air-dispense, lunchtime pies, antique mirrors, the hubbub of conversation, a dog curled up by the stove, and, of course, the occasional bit of polite, friendly and mutually respectful banter between staff and regulars.

Early Morning Homebrewing
Up early this morning homebrewing. Doing an extract Weizen. I have tried and All-Grain recipe in the past, but it just never seemed to work out for me. All of my extract weizens have come out spot on. Anyone else up and brewing this morning?
