Bryggeri Fängelset AB
Välkommen! Welcome to Bryggeri Fängelset, located in scenic Västervik, a coastal gateway to one of Sweden’s most beautiful archipelagos. Västervik is a hidden gem on the southeast coast of Sweden with much to offer people from all walks of life. The brewery’s home base is at the historic Hotell Fängelset (the old town prison built in 1871 and operated until 2007), conveniently located across from the Bus/Train terminal and a short walk to downtown Västervik. Here, at the Fängelset pub, you will be able find our regular brews and many of our “exbeeriments” – seasonal or one-off brews to experiment with new ingredients, styles, and flavors.
