White Street Foreign Extra Stout
Product Notes
The White Street Stout is brewed to the UK export style. Notes of mocha, light smokiness, and a creamy mouthfeel round out this heavily roasted brew. The perfect choice for the winter months.
User reviews
Bought a growler of this on International Stout Day (to celebrate) and had a few upon returning home. This tasting is being done a few days later. The beer did not lose anything in the few days it spent in the growler.
Aroma: Moderate roasted grain aromas. No alcohol aroma present. Little hop aroma
Look (Appearance): Almost black in color with a lasting tan, tightly packed head.
Taste: Medium malt character. Roasted flavors of coffee or lightly burnt grain. No hop bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel at temperature.
Second Look (Overall Impression): I highly enjoyed this Stout. It's very easy to drink. I dont know that I could have many of these in a row as the roast character gets to be a little much after the first few, by one or two at a sitting is a great way to spend an afternoon.
Make sure if you have a growler of this that you let it come to temperature before drinking it to get the most out of all the flavors and aromas.
