Product Notes

Our Belgian Pale is an easy going copper colored ale with a fluffy white head. A bready malt backbone is delicately balanced with spicy phenols derived from fermentation. This brew offers a surprising amount of complexity while retaining great drinkability.

Just me, myself and my beer in the taproom. Football on the TV's and around 20 to 25 people enjoying the different offerings from the taproom.

Beer was served in a standard pint glass.

Aroma: Slight malty aroma, sweet floral character with more fruity esters as it warms up. Little to no hop aroma.

Look (Appearance): Copper color with white head that faded somewhat quickly. Very good clarity with good lacing.

Taste: Soft smooth malt flavor. Medium dry with low phenols even for a beer above its target abv. Small hop bite in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium light body with appropriate carbonation. The first few sips are peppery across the tongue

Second Look (Overall Impression): Easily drinkable well balanced beer. Alcohol is a little to high to be a session beer (its traditional role), but still a good example of style. The beer should be given a short time to warm up to get the full makeup of this beer.
