Product Notes

This is a complete RTD Black and Tan. Not just any Black and Tan but the one where we flawlessly mixed a flippant good Imperial IPA with a profoundly evil Imperial Stout and sustained sweet beer balance.

Just sitting down to have my first beer of a long day. A bit tired, but a very accomplished day.

Aroma: I find the aroma is sweet roasted malt, chocolate and just a hint of fruity either esters or hops.

Look (Appearance): The appearance is black with a chocolate mile colored head that diminishes quicky but leave a nice lacing on the glass.

Taste: A very roasty, boozy, coffee like flavor. Hop bitterness is very present on the swallow and lingers. Quite a bit of alcohol present and almost overpowering the other flavors. Hops are very present as this beer moves across the tongue.

Mouthfeel: Very full bodied malty. medium carbonation with an oily texture, finishes a bit high bitter and semi-dry

Second Look (Overall Impression): A well done beer with a good mix of flavors. A bit of alcohol presence and a lingering bitterness that are completely welcome in this beer. I would recommend this to other IPA lovers. Good job.
