The Lost River Brewing Company is an artisan craft brewery and pub owned and operated by Scott and Sandi Stambaugh, who are proud to call the West Virginia Potomac Highlands home. Scott Stambaugh is an award-winning brewer with years of experience creating fine artisan craft ales. We are excited to open in this historic building, which is over a century old. Founded in 1993, the award-winning Atlanta Brewing Company (ABC) is the oldest operational craft brewery in the state of Georgia. In late 2005 new ownership and management was welcomed to the brewery: Robert Budd, serving as President, and Dave Weil – Director of Operations, joined longtime ABC Brewmaster Dave McClure. Red Brick Ale was the first beer brewed by ABC and remains its flagship brand; it is available year round, as are Peachtree Pale Ale and Red Brick Blonde.
