Our brewery is zwichen Dusseldorf, Krefeld and Mönchengladbach in the sleepy small town Anrath belonging to the municipality Willich. Besides the restaurant with 40 smoking areas and 60 Non smoking courses we offer three bowling alleys and various rooms for events for 10-300 people on. Our chefs cook a Traditional cuisine in a la Card and at events they satisfy every culinary desire have you and your guests. In the adjoining brewery chief bride personally the popular Mönk old, Mönk wheat and two times a year, a strong beer called Mönk Bock.

Vom 13. bis zum 19. Jahrhundert unterhielt der Johanniterorden in Walsum eine sogenannte Kommende, die Ordensmitglieder sowie Reisende aufnahm und bewirtete. Bierbrauen und Gastlichkeit haben in Walsum am Niederrhein eine jahrhundertealte Tradition, die mit gemütlichem Beisammensein verbunden ist. Das Walsumer Brauhaus Urfels knüpft mit seiner Braukunst an diese Gastfreundschaft an. Unsere Gäste werden verwöhnt mit handgebrauten Bierspezialitäten, wie Walsumer Hell und Walsumer Dunkel, hergestellt nach dem deutschen Reinheitsgebot. Darüber hinaus werden zu bestimmten Anlässen, der Jahreszeit entsprechend, weitere Bierspezialitäten wie z. B. Karnevals-Bier, Märzen-Bier oder Weihnachts-Bier gebraut.
