Interview with a Homebrewer – Hill Hopper

Our first interview of the year comes to us from the United Kingdom.  He’s comes as a friend of CellarMonk’s (a link to his blog can be found in our Blog Roll/Beer Links section).  We would have sat him down in the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame, but alas, he seems to always be on the go.  Up one hill or down another with time in between for his work and his play (beer brewing/blogging/drinking and hill walking) we very nearly had to get this interview on the road.  Please welcome to CellarMonk, Mr. Andrew Mogg.Name: Andy Mogg Day Job: Web development Director (lemontopcreative.com) Twitter handle: @BeerReviewsAndy Beer Related Writings: Beer Reviews…

  • Winter Seasonal Beer

    Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus

Santa Claus Beer is brewed only once a year on December 6 and aged for 10 months before bottling. This beer is perhaps the rarest in the world. Samichlaus may be aged for many years to come. Older vintages become more complex with a creamy warming finish. Serve with hardy robust dishes and desserts, particulary with chocolates, or as to after-dinner drink by itself.

    Titanic Brewery Ltd

Titanic Brewery was founded in Burslem Stoke on Trent in 1985 with one goal, to produce great beer! Burslem was the Mother town of the Potteries and had many great names who had started their careers amongst the bottle kilns and smoke. He would go on to command the world’s most famous liner. It is in honour of him that the brewery was named. From humble beginnings Titanic Brewery has grown beyond all expectations to produce in excess of 2.3…
