Mad Hatter Brewing Company Limited
In making our beers, we take the best things about the US brewing revolution and mix them with the British Real Ale tradition and continental beer styles and techniques. To this heady mix we add the best ingredients sourced from all over the world: English floor malted grain, the best hop varieties, and, where appropriate, spices, herbs and fruit. We then brew the beer with specially selected live yeast cultures, which give an added layer of complexity.

Die Rüttenscheider Hausbrauerei wurde im November 1993 durch Volker Kampl, selbst ein Brauermeister, gegründet. Er und seine Frau Christine Kampl haben bis Oktober 2012 die Hausbrauerei und den dazugehöhrigen Gastronomiebetrieb erfolgreich geführt. Im Oktober 2012 haben Farhad M. Tabrizi und Afshin Sadaghiani die einzige Hausbrauerei in Essen übernommen und führen nach alter Tradition diese wunderschöne kleine Hausbrauerei mitten in Essen-Rüttenscheid. In unserem Betrieb, wird das Bier noch selbst gebraut und als weitere Besonderheit: wir als einzige Hausbrauerei im Ruhrgebiet schenken unser Bier aus echten Eichenholzfässern aus.
