    Blue Toad Hard Cider

    Old-school values, new-world sensibilities.  Born in a barn, Blue Toad Cider honors the tradition and legacy of America’s first preferred beverage by brewing an all-natural and eminently drinkable hard cider using only locally grown Western New York apples.  Rather than solely using European-style tart and bitter apples, Blue Toad uses a cider blend of three different apples (replete with natural seasonal variation) grown and pressed at Schutt’s Apple Mill in Webster, New York, which has been producing some of New York’s finest sweet cider since 1918.  The sweeteners we use in our brewing process are also sourced locally, and our production takes place in our cidery at the Genesee Regional…

    “Echt Kriekenbier, (real cherry beer)” is as the name suggests a cherry beer that is manufactured with only the real fruit of cherries instead of with flavor enhancers or extracts of cherries. The fruit is sourced from the region around Sint-Truiden in Limburg (Belgium). Unlike the most famous fruit beers is the basic beer of the “real cherry beer” not a Lambic but a West-Flemish red-brown ale aged in oak wood.     Find us on George Street, Buxton, in the Old Court House, slap bang in the middle of Buxton’s cafe quarter. Only a stone’s throw from the Opera House & The Dome. We’re open from 10 am to 12 midnight Sun-Thurs and 10 am – 1 am Fri and Sat. We’ve got 13 draft beers on tap all the time: 5 continuously changing Buxton-only cask lines, 8 continuously changing Buxton-only keg lines. We have a rotating draft cider line and more than 80 different bottled beers from amazing craft breweries from all around the World.
