Interview with a Homebrewer – A Man in Brewniform
Our latest interviewee has a busy schedule. This is primarily due to the fact that that schedule doesn’t belong to him. Sitting in the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame long enough to complete this interview I am sure was a challenge. Between his duties as an active duty serviceman, expectant father and active homebrewer and blogger (he’s prolific on Twitter too), it’s surprising he had time to put together such impressive answers. Being a former soldier myself, I solute his service. Being the editor of this website about beer, I salute his enthusiasm for not only his homebrewing hobby, but his intense interest in the craft beer community. Welcome to…

Interview with a Homebrewer – Hill Hopper
Our first interview of the year comes to us from the United Kingdom. He’s comes as a friend of CellarMonk’s (a link to his blog can be found in our Blog Roll/Beer Links section). We would have sat him down in the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame, but alas, he seems to always be on the go. Up one hill or down another with time in between for his work and his play (beer brewing/blogging/drinking and hill walking) we very nearly had to get this interview on the road. Please welcome to CellarMonk, Mr. Andrew Mogg.Name: Andy Mogg Day Job: Web development Director (lemontopcreative.com) Twitter handle: @BeerReviewsAndy Beer Related Writings: Beer Reviews…

Interview with a Homebrewer – Brew Duo
The homebrewing community is thought to be one of the solitary brewer standing forth at his mash tun or brew kettle, contemplating his next step or next brew. Yes, there are homebrew clubs and such, but rarely do we get to see a couple that actually brews together. Past experience, and quite a few, “That’s nice, honey” has this writer heard from his own spouse while brewing. We are excited to bring to CellarMonk our first husband and wife brewers. From the way it sounds, this will be a lifelong endeavor. Please welcome to the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame (Lara, women first ya know) and to the Not So…

Interview with a Homebrewer – Brew Yorker
Another homebrewer joins the ranks of those mercilessly grilled while in the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame. Well, mercilessly might be a strong word for it. Ok, he answered some questions about homebrewing and did a fine job of that. Our newest homebrew interviewee got his start in homebrewing not too long ago, but dove right into it and has been pretty successful in his few short years of brewing. Please welcome to the site, a small batch homebrewer from NYC, Mr. Nick Ladd. Name: Nick Ladd Day Job: I do a lot of things. My education is in architecture and I do work in that field. I also run…

Interview with a Homebrewer – 3 Frenchs
Another great homebrewer was willing to sit down in the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame for an lively interview. This interviewee got into homebrewing the way I think most do, with a buddy. A fellow North Carolina homebrewer joins us in the Comfy Computer Chair of Fame for a Tar Heel homebrew interview.
