Our plan is to offer mainly locally produced real ales from microbreweries alongside ciders and perries not usually found in your average pub.  We offer this in an environment free from TV, gaming machines, juke boxes and pool tables. Just a quiet drink and a chat. We’ll have a regularly changing beer list so there will always be a great variety on offer. Just don’t expect cheap lager and shots – you won’t find any!

Located on the edge of Covent Garden, and a 5 minute walk from High Holborn Tube, Belgo Holborn is situated in what was once a Lloyd’s Bank. It has a contemporary and open feel, but memories of the building’s former use can be seen in the basement, where the bank’s safe has been converted into a beer cellar!  Belgo Holborn seats 130 diners, it has a beer hall themed restaurant to the right and a drinks area to the left with a large bar in the middle. Holborn has big glass windows looking out onto Kingsway and outside seating. It’s a great blank canvas still with the Belgo trademarks.  

The original Belgo, which opened its doors in April 1992, is a restaurant with a dual personality seating a total of 140 diners. The original half, designed by Anand Zenz, is an eccentric interpretation of the European brewery eating hall, with rendered concrete walls featuring the comical sounding names of common Medieval fayre and seats around 100 diners.  A Ron Arad designed extension, added 18 months after opening to double the capacity, features acid-etched steel and plywood beams soaring in and out of a glass roof, and an amoeba-shaped bar and seats around 40 diners. Belgo Noord is a short walk from Camden Market and the fantastic Roundhouse Theatre.

The latest addition to the Belgo family based in the heart of Old Compton Street. Belgo Soho has two levels. The ground floor seats up to 50 diners and has large open windows looking out onto Old Compton Street with very cool, slightly industrial décor and an open kitchen.   The lower ground floor seats 110 diners perfect for pre-booking the whole downstairs restaurant.  It is also parted into two sections (right and left), seating 55 diners in each so very well equipped for a more intimate private event or party.
