It all began in 2013 with a simple homebrew kit. It wasn’t long before we found ourselves in the garage mashing, boiling, and fermenting beer after work and every weekend. After two years of experimenting with different beer varieties and recipes, we felt it was time to take our passion of brewing and drinking craft beer to the next level. In the summer of 2015, Mast Landing Brewing Company was officially formed. Dry hopped American wheat beer Truly transatlantic, hoppy american wheat beer. 50/50 British pale malt and wheat, gently hopped with American Cascade and Chinook. Fermented with German weissbier yeast for a lively, cloudy and full flavoured finish. ABV 4.5%

Vale of Glamorgan Brewery
Headed by Phil and brewed by Rob, we’re a small team brewing a wide range of beers in cask, keg, bottle and can. Along with a core offering including ‘Dark Matter’ (Champion Beer of Wales 2015, 2016, 2017) and the massively popular ‘South Island Pale Ale’, we also have seasonal brews and a one off brew range called ‘New Tricks’. Experimental recipes are run through our small batch kit before trying them out on the main kit and releasing them to the masses. Some of these have proved so popular that they’ve graduated to our core range.

Reopened in September 2011 under the helm of Chris Stairmand, this corner local has gained a great reputation for outstanding ales and live music. Winning Champion Pub of Cheshire in 2013, and being in the Good Beer Guide consistently since reopening, whilst also hosting musicians from across the globe. A staple venue on the blues music scene.
