    Getting Back into Beer Writing

It’s been a very busy last 6 month and I haven’t been able to keep up with content on the website. I now have more time to focus on the cite and its content. My plan is to publish at least one article a week (if not more). I am open to any suggestions in regards to their content. I am also looking to start filling in many of the different sections that have been neglected. The sections include: HomebrewingBeer & FoodBrew HappeningsBeer Travels many more. If you have any original content that you think might be of interest or would just like to perhaps guest post, I would be…

    GABF or Bust!

Sitting in the airport awaiting boarding on the first leg of my journey to Denver to meet up with both my real family and the much larger brewing family. GABF begins on Thursday, but I wanted to get out early to enjoy all the different events leading up to it. From tap takeovers to meetups, I don’t think that I will be at a loss for things to do.   See you in Denver!

    Falling Rock Taphouse

The Falling Rock Tap House features a large outside street level patio – perfect for a beer before or after a game. Inside the upper level there is roomy seating at the bar, booths or tables. Our lower level has more seating around the pool tables, 2 dart boards and the main restrooms. Many people ask about the 2200+ beer bottles lining the walls in the bar.

    Pateros Creek Brewing Company

Pateros Creek is a Fort Collins father and son venture started by the son Steve Jones. Steve asked his father Bob to become part of his crazy dream in 2008 and with Bob’s business experience and Steve’s beer knowledge, PCBC was born. In December, PCBC located and secured its location on North College Ave in a quiet part of Old Town. The doors opened June 11, 2011 and we have been proudly serving tasty brews around the area ever since. We are focusing on local history and local…

    Equinox Brewing Company

The most common question we get is, why Equinox Brewing? The equinox, and the intrigue of equal night and day, has deep roots in history and ritual. But, at the same time, the equinox marks the changing of the season, and forces us to look toward the future. We find it interesting that the two days out of the year that have perfect light and dark balance also show the balance between the past and the future, tradition and innovation. Beer contains similar elements. Sure, there’s the balance of flavors in a beer; sweet and bitter, rich and simple… We find another aspect of beer’s balancing act fascinating. Historically, beer…

Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew

Our Mutual Friend is a brewery and taproom located in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. For us, brewing beer began as an excuse to gather with our friends and ruminate on life, philosophy, music, food, and of course, beer. Once we got started, we grew more curious about the brewing process, honing our craft and experimenting with different methods and techniques. Along the way a fundamental question to our process was, how can we do more of this ourselves? Our desire to participate in every step of the grain to glass process led us to open Our Mutual Friend.
