Review Detail
A little late but this beer starts my 21 Days of the Season.
Aroma: Very floral/citrus on the nose. It's the first thing you notice as the glass comes to you nose.
Look (Appearance): Pours clear and straw colored with a white head the disappeared rather quickly.
Taste: Pepper across the front of the tongue with slight hop bite at the back of the tongue. Bitterness lingers but is not harsh. Slight citrus notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium light (body) mouthfeel with moderate carbonation.
Second Look (Overall Impression): Really did not know what to expect from a white IPA. I think this beer would be welcome in the Winter or the Summer. The beer is a little tricky in that for its taste profile and mouthfeel it is very easy to drink, yet with an ABV of 6.2% you would quickly feel its effects.
