Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 at Rock, Cornwall. The success and growth of our young Brewery has been phenomenal with Sharp's now the largest brewer of cask conditioned beer in the South West ( Industry sources) and Sharp's leading brand Doom Bar is one of the UK's fastest growing beer brands. The Sharp's brewing process incorporates all the best practices from Britain's rich brewing heritage with modern high spec brewing equipment, food standard hygiene and industry leading environmental practices to produce the very highest quality beer. The Brewery's unique position on Cornwall's Atlantic coast is a major influence. Our main brand Doom Bar is named after an infamous sandbank at the mouth of the Camel Estuary. We are a modern brewer of beer, our image and attitude is energetic, relevant, embracing the future of cask beer whilst respecting its past. Our passion is brewing beer of the highest quality with the finest natural ingredients available but not the artificial additives commonly found in brewing today. The clarity and quality of our beer is testament to this philosophy. Unlike most breweries we do not own or operate any pubs, hotels or restaurants. We focus solely on brewing and supplying quality beer to over 1500 outlets across the South of England.
