Brewery Notes
Brewery De Koninck is in the centre of Antwerp, capital of the Province of Antwerp, an area with a rich brewing history. Ask anyone from Antwerp (also known as a ‘Sinjoor’) to describe the city and you will undoubtedly hear: the Scheldt, the Zoo, the Cathedral and ... 'a Bolleke Koninck'. Few Antwerp-based companies have such an inexticable link and rich tradition with the city (or 't Stad as people in Antwerp say) as Brewery De Koninck. A classic... a part of Antwerp, in the same that the port, the zoo, diamonds and fashion are. High fermentation amber beer with a strong taste and velvety aroma. Made with Saaz-hops and 100% pure malt, without addition of corn or other brewing sugars. Only 5% alc.vol. and therefore both a thirst-quencher and a degustation beer. The best way to drink this quality beer is from the typical 'Bollekes glass'.
