Brewery Notes
Founded in 1890 in the village of Brunehaut, in Belgium (Brunehaut is the name of the paved Roman road running between Amiens, France, right down to Cologne, Germany). In 1990, for its 100th anniversary, the brewery was relocated in new purpose-built premises, allowing our brewmaster to perpetuate the tradition using modern equipment. St Martin's life was a voyage profoundly marked by sharing and self-sacrifice. Founded in 1096, the Abbey of Saint Martin at Tours (Tournai) in Belgium perpetuated his teachings. Today, following the St Martin tradition, the recipes developed by the monks and handed down to our master brewers are being shared with you and your friends Organic beers - The Brunehaut brewery, environmentally and ecologically aware, is the first European brewery to export its beer in recyclable kegs and grow its own barley and wheat. We also produce a full range of Organic beers (White, Blond and Amber).
