the color system used by brewers to specify finished beer and malt color.

Strong beer

Used in extract brewing applications. It is the process of soaking grains (usually specialty grains) in water to extract color/flavor/aroma/body. Steeping differs from mashing in that there is no starch-to-sugar conversion.

Stout and porter are dark beers made using roasted malts or roast barley.

The morning-after flatulence that often follows a night of drinking Guinness.
