The Jolly Brewer

Welcome to The Jolly Brewer in Stamford. You'll find us on the outskirts of the town centre but at the heart of our community!

We are passionate about good quality, properly served real ales. We offer 6 ales, 2 permanent; Sharp's Doom Bar & Oakham Ales' JHB & 4 rotating guest ales mainly sourced from local microbreweries.

You could also try one of our real ciders and we stock probably the largest whisky selection in the area.

Delicious homemade food is served every lunch time from 12pm - 3pm & all day (12 - 9pm) on Fridays & Saturdays.

Come in and watch sport on one of our large HD screens, showing Sky and BT Sport or join in yourself and try one of our traditional pub games: darts, pool, pushpenny, dominoes & crib are all played at the Brewer.

You can find us in The Good Beer Guide and we participate in CAMRA's LocAle scheme, which highlights real ales sourced from within a 30 mile radius of the pub.  We are members of The Oakademy of Excellence (awarded from Oakham Ales) which allows us to buy Oakham Ales' special guest beers - exclusive to members. This year Oakham Ales' theme for their Oakademy beers is The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy & a new beer is brewed every 2 months. We were proud to be awarded Peterborough's Pub of The Year in 2009 & Lincolnshire's Pub of the Year also in the same year, both by CAMRA.
