Zum Nußbaum is a popular historic inn in Berlin, Germany. It was formerly located in Fischerinsel, and was one of the oldest drinking establishments in the city; after its destruction in World War II it was recreated in the nearby Nikolaiviertel.

Alt-Berliner Weißbierstuben
The restaurant has 44 seats and 10 bar seats. During the warm seasons, our capacity is supplemented by a further 120 places on our beautifully situated terrace. The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 clock to midnight. The food and beverage offer includes interalia Berlin typical dishes and beverages. You can find us at the Alexanderplatz, in Berlin Carre ‘on the upper floor of the former market hall. Centrally located in the heart of the capital, in close proximity to several tourist attractions such as the television tower, Hackescher Markt, the Red City Hall, Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, the Nicolai quarter, the State Opera, the Gendarmenmarkt and the boulevard “Unter den Linden”. Our friendly staff will serve alongside Berlin and Brandenburg specialties, dishes from almost all parts of Germany. Crispy knuckles, pans and brewmaster our hearty lunch menu with our guests enjoy great popularity.

The Loddon Brewery Ltd
After several months of searching, we finally found a suitable building for the brewery as we came across an old brick and flint grain store on the main site of Phillimore farms, Dunsden green. Three months of extensive renovations then followed in order to transform the barn into the brewery you see today. It then took another two weeks to install our custom built brewery plant. We have a 20 barrel brew plant which is capable of producing up to 100 brewers barrels (28,800 pints) of beer each week.
