Our Mission

To promote North Carolina as The State of Southern Beer, and to position North Carolina as a leader among the best craft beer states in the nation

Our Vision

The North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild (NCCBG) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advance the interests of the craft breweries of North Carolina and to promote North Carolina craft beer.

We seek to establish the NCCBG as:

  • the recognized voice for North Carolina craft beer in national and state policy matters;

  • a reliable resource and reference for our membership base, the media, and the general public;

  • a leading advocate for North Carolina craft beer across all five tiers (supplier, brewer, wholesaler, retailer, and consumer); and

  • a vibrant, enthusiastic coalition of craft brewers proud to promote and showcase North Carolina craft beer.

The California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) is a 501(c)6 nonprofit trade association representing the craft and specialty brewing industry in California. The primary function of the CCBA is to monitor legislative activity at the state Capitol and provide a single and coherent political voice that represents and protects the interests of all California craft breweries. The CCBA’s mission is to connect and empower the craft brewers of California through advocacy, education and communication.

BREW NH is a non-profit organization that promotes New Hampshire via the beer industry. We want to be your beer hub when you think about events, activities, advice and news about NH’s growing beer industry.

If Brew New Hampshire were a person, it would shop at the farmers market (but not exclusively), know the names of its neighbors and downtown merchants, and dress in sensible, attractive, non-ironic, flannel shirts.

Explore the site and reach out to us if you have feedback.

You can stay in touch with our beer community through social media, get in on the beer conversation and find out where we’re celebrating #NHBEER this week.

We’re making some more cool changes to the site and we have lots of news about the coming festival season, hot brands, and members of our community. We’re pretty kickass, if we do say so ourselves. And you know, we need each other to have conversations about beer on a state level.

Come support us by volunteering for a festival or sharing your skills for the greater effort. We love beer tourism and we’ve got a ton of interesting, high quality breweries per capita.

Vermonters have a deep respect for what’s genuine, and an aversion to anything that falls short. Vermont didn’t become one of the world’s most respected beer destinations overnight. It took a generation of pioneers who are revered by the state’s brewers today, and a new breed of innovators. We don’t dumb down our beers for the mass market. Because we’re putting our name on something much bigger than our name.

Wherever you go in Vermont, you’ll find different styles, different tastes, and a common bond. And with every new taste, you’ll get to know the flavor of our state a little better. From the brewers who led the way, establishing our craft, to a new generation of taprooms waiting to be discovered.

In Vermont, our search for the perfect pint is fueled by a passionate and inquisitive spirit. We explore further and dig deeper. All so that we can create a beer unlike anyone else.

In 2007, Massachusetts brewers came together to form the Massachusetts Brewers Guild (MBG) for the purposes of promoting craft brewing and protecting the interests of craft brewers in Massachusetts.

The membership based association is open to all Massachusetts breweries licensed by the federal Tax and Trade Bureau and the Commonwealth’s Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission and is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation.

At the time the MBG was formed there were only 34 brewing licenses issued in the state. Today, there are more than 200 operating breweries across the Commonwealth including brewpubs, farm-breweries, and manufacturers.
